Containing over 340 species and over 780 color photos, this book covers a great majority of the regions wildflowers. The goal is to put a name to that wildflower. Students of botany, hikers, nature lovers, this is for you. The scientific names are updated to 2013. In many cases there will be more than one common name shown.
It was designed to be viewed in the portrait orientation. A double tap will bring the photo up to full width in Kindle, then expand the photo with your fingers.
Wildflowers are divided by color and time of year. The main menu links to lists of species. Following each list, are one to five photos for each species. Every species listed, is linked by it's scientific and common name to the photo(s) for that species. There are a few trees and shrubs that are not technically wildflowers, but drew attention, because of some interesting characteristic.
Example: The flower is yellow and it is June. To find the name of that wildflower, simply go to the color and the time of season. Scroll through the photos and compare, or if you think you know the name, find it in the list and link to the photos to compare. Bookmark it and return to it later.
