Tales emerged from small towns and rural areas, recounting unsettling encounters between children and this uncanny figure. Kids playing in fields and meadows claimed to have felt a constant gaze upon them, a sensation that sent shivers down their spines. Many feared to venture out alone, their imaginations running wild as they imagined the malevolent intent behind The Watcher's watchful eyes.
Parents, torn between believing their children's vivid imaginations and dismissing their claims as mere childhood stories, were powerless to ease their fears. As incidents escalated, communities became engulfed in paranoia. Late-night whispers echoed through towns, sharing chilling stories of The Watcher and the strange happenings surrounding the watching of innocent kids at play.
The Watcher
Descriptions of The Watcher varied, often adding to the mystery. Some accounts portrayed The Watcher as a tall and shadowy figure, blending seamlessly into the night. Others claimed The Watcher possessed glowing eyes that pierced through the darkness, reflecting an otherworldly presence. Regardless of the specific details, the consensus remained unchanged – The Watcher was an entity beyond human comprehension, a being with an intensity that unsettled those who dared to glance in its direction.
Over time, those who encountered The Watcher reported a lingering fear that extended beyond the initial encounter. The Herds have been known for a lot of things, and none of them is anything good. Still, society and the legal system always let them walk away with everything they do.
While the law plays blind and dumb to their crimes, Ford, the only officer who seemed to have had enough of the army of thieves, won’t give up until he made sure they couldn’t hurt anyone again. He found a perfect chance when O’Neil, the fraternity leader, is seen by two homeless teenagers, Tara and Josh, killing two different people at different times. Even with his full pack of wolves, he couldn’t find the teenagers to eliminate his threats. The ring leader didn’t know that there was someone else watching and waiting for the perfect time to bring him down.
A vigilante must team up with the law to either make the ring leader rot in jail or silence him forever. But they must first save the teenagers and at the same time use the teenagers as the baits to lure O’Neil to where he would meet his waterloo. If all things go right for the Watcher and the officer, the days of the Herds would soon become once upon a time, but if things go south, it would be the ring leader who wins at the end of the day.
